Hey there, I’m Ash.

When I’m not designing the BEST designs ever, I’m punching and kicking bags (muay thai), playing video games, catering to my dog or trying a new and fun activity.

I come from a multifaceted background. As a child, I loved to draw and enjoyed creating my own world through my art. As I got older I followed my heart and studied Art at Georgia State University. During my last semester, I took a graphic design class. I never knew graphic design even existed. I had so much creating designs on my computer. I loved the correlation between art and technology. After I graduated, I pursued my learning of graphic design. I studied, and participated in design challenges where I had to design everyday for 30 days. Being self-taught is something I take pride in.

After learning on and off jobs, I noticed how fast paced technology was being. I didn’t want to get left behind. After a couple of years of graphic design, I became interested in UI/UX design. I saw these disciplines go hand and hand. I could now use my graphic design expertise in a new field. This time I had to learn about the user experience. Funny enough, in college I was a waiter. So I like to mention that’s my first time coming in contact with UX.

If you can’t tell I’m a naturally curious person. I feel that to be an important quality to have as a UX/UI designer, where I have to have empathy and be curious on the job. Currently, I’m working at Warner Bros. Games as a UI/UX designer. I hope you enjoyed stopping by, if not, here’s something just for you to make for it.
